The PLD Group, Inc. is an award-winning print, mail and distribution company owned and founded by Patti Drinville, the 2015 Inland Empire Entrepreneur of the Year. The PLD Group is a woman-owned business enterprise and NWBOC – certified business located in Thousand Palms, California serving customers nationwide, including Alaska and Hawaii since 1989.

The PLD Group is committed to servicing our clients with statement processing and undeliverable mail needs from the simple to the complex. Our experienced and knowledgeable team consults one on one with companies to improve office efficiencies as well as budgets.

Raised in a printing environment with the foundation set at an early age of providing exceptional service to customers, Patti achieved the status of the first female sales rep and first female sales manager at the Southern California printing companies where she was employed. She went on to become Executive Vice President at a Fortune 1000 company in the Greater Los Angeles area in the mid – 1980s where she achieved acclaim for designing the first multi-lingual report card for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

With the goal of offering personalized communications to her company’s large client base, she came up with the concept for a new (pre-computer and software age) product that had the opportunity to revolutionize the print market. Implementation of the new product met with substantial delays so instead of settling for the status quo of doing what her competition was already doing, she began to formulate the business plan to launch her own company and left to pursue that very goal.

In 1989, Patti founded Document Strategies, which incorporated as The PLD Group, Inc. in 2001. In the early stage of the business, Patti brokered small scale print and mail projects for her developing client base which focused on medical groups and utility companies throughout the nation. 

Since then, The PLD Group has grown significantly through its ability to innovate and add new strategic products and services, always reaching for a new level of service to satisfy her customers’ needs. Fully-staffed with an onsite production center, The PLD Group is well known for its capabilities, professionalism and expert service to the healthcare industry, utilities government entities, as well as private companies that send from 100 to 1,000,000 or more critical mailings at a time.
